UV400 Explained: Why It Matters

UV400 means the lens blocks light up to 400 nanometres — which covers both UVA and UVB rays completely.

Why this matters

Cheap, uncertified sunglasses can actually be worse than wearing none at all — dark lenses make your pupils dilate, letting in more unfiltered UV if there's no real protection behind the tint.

How to check

Look for "UV400" or "100% UV protection" printed on the lens or in the product listing. Every pair we sell is certified — no exceptions.
